As well as the courses listed above, there are many others including the famed links course at Carne in Belmullet and the links course just over the border (from Mayo) in Enniscrone, County Sligo.
Other fine golf courses include the championship course at Westport overlooking Clew Bay with views of Croagh Patrick and golf courses in Achill, Ballina, Ballinrobe, Ballyhaunis, Mulranny and Swinford.
Ballinrobe is renowned for its championship 18-hole parkland golf course at Cloonacastle Estate. Designed by the late Eddie Hackett and developed in 1995, Ballinrobe Golf Course has been played by many famous golfers, including Ireland's Padraig Harrington.
