Five miles east of Bonniconlon on the Tubbercurry road is the picturesque Lought Talt, a haven for any fisherman. Here you will find an abundant stock of brown trout.

There are many suberb Golf Courses within easy access of Bonniconlon. Ballina Golf Club overlooks the wonderful scenery around the Ox Mountains and is situated in the Moy Valley. Just a short drive away is the highly rated Links Course at Enniscrone. The Par 73 Championship course is big favourite with the Golfing fraternity, both in Ireland and abroad and always features in Golfing reviews and publications.
