Lacken is situated along the North Coast of Mayo and offers the visitor an ideal opportunity to take-in a some of the breath-taking shoreline of this part of the West Coast of Ireland.

The waters in this area of Killala Bay are rich with marine life and contain many artifacts which are of interest to the wider public.

The Céide Fields Interpretative Centre is located in nearby, Ballycastle, which exhibits the famous Stone Age settlement.
