The new Ballina Street Festival will run from Monday 8th July to Sunday 14th July 2019.

The Festival is fully packed with events that cater for adults and children alike. It features the well-known Heritage Day, Picnic in the Park, Beat on the Street and the Saturday night Fireworks extravaganza.

The programme’s highlights include:

• Heritage Day on Wednesday 10th July

• Abbey Street Take Over on Thursday 11th July

• ‘Beat on the Street’ in the Market Square followed by Ballina’s famous fireworks extravaganza on Saturday 13th July

• Picnic in the park, event for all family on Sunday 14th July.Children can bring their Teddies along, there will be
  music and bouncy castles.

• Historical Walking Tour of Ballina through the week : Ballina Past and Present. A visit to the historical sites from Pre History through the centuries to the present day: Patrician and Medieval era, The 1798 Rebellion, the Famine, The Land League, War of Independence to Modern Ballina.

Also, there will be many more entertainment such as workshops for children ( River Moy biodiversity, young historians and more), busking competitions for adults and children, monsters car treasure hunt, kids pirate treasure hunt, River Moy Swim, Fun and Splash Swimming and Stand up Paddle Boarding and Sail on the Moy.
