The 2022 International Dark Sky Week is running from Friday 22nd April to Saturday 30th April, back in person all across Mayo.

It caters for families and enthusiasts alike. Partecipants will be focused on the basics in astronomy and learn about stargazing through walks and talks.

The events will take place in different locations at 7pm:

• Erris, Sunday 24th April

• Castlebar, Monday 25th April

• Achill Island, Tuesday 26th April

• Westport, Wednesday 27th April

• Mulranny, Thursday 28th April

• Clare Island, Friday 29th April

• Newport, Saturday 30th April
