Roola Boola 2023

RoolaBoola is one of the leading children’s arts festivals in Ireland. This amusing event takes place annually in Castlebar at the Linenhall Arts Centre. It will run from Thursday, 26th October, to Thursday, 7th November.
This year, the celebrations include a selection of the highest calibre national and international children's theatre, music and dance.
The exciting 2023 experience includes:

“The Boy Who Talked to Dogs”, a tale based on the best-selling memoir starring acclaimed Irish actor Bryan Burroughs.

“Family Art Sessions”, a Roola Boola Special, making art as a family.

“Bill and Fred Adventures”, a show about relationships, forgiveness, compromising and friendships.

“Artway”, a project for nurturing and strengthening children’s connection to creativity, emotions and thoughts.

“Scéalaíocht as Gaeilge le Gearóid”, a storytelling event for children in Irish.

“I am Baba”, a magical adventure of song, lights and textures for babies aged 0-12 months.
- “Pola Bear and Penguin”, a play written and performed by John Currivan and Paul Curley.
