The 2025 Westport Sea Angling Festival will take place in Westport from Friday, June 20th, to Sunday, June 22nd.

The festival is popular among anglers from all over Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales and Holland.

Since 1956, the Quay has hosted a one-day shore competition and a three-day boat competition.

Events include the Shore Competition and Boat Competition.

The clear waters of the Clew Bay, near Westport, guarantee catches of different varieties of fish including Dogfish, Bull Huss, Thornback Ray, Blonde Ray, Tope, Ling and Conger.
