There are Christmas Fairs taking place all around Mayo in Christmas time.

Here there is a list of the most popular Christmas markets where it is possible shop and have fun while doing it.

Ballycastle

The Christmas Craft Fair in Ballycastle will take place in the Hall on Saturday 29th November from 12.00 – 6.00p.m. & 8.00p.m. – 9.30p.m. and on Sunday 30th November from 12.00 – 4.00p.m.

Here visitors can discover and browse a variety of crafts and home baking by locals and craftworkers from all parts of Mayo.

Louisburg

The Annual Christmas Craft Fair will take place in Louisburgh on Dec 6th and 7th. In Louisburgh the spirit of Christmas is helped further along by this Fair. The Craft stalls will be ready for the fun on Saturday from 6pm and from 11pm on Sunday. The stalls will be jam-packed with cakes, food , beautiful crafts and jewellery.

The Fair is a Festive Fun for all the family with carol singing, cups of tea or coffee and slices of deliciuos cakes in the Town Hall.

Castlebar

Mayo's biggest annual Indoor Christmas Market will be taking place on Sunday 30th November in Breaffy House Events Arena, Castlebar from 10am to 5pm.

It will be a great day out for all the family, with lots of crafts, foods, christmas decorations, christmas gift ideas, Santa's grotto, and Carol Singing.

Ballyhaunis

The Ballyhaunis Christmas Market will take place on Saturday 20th December. There will be a rich array of Christmas stalls with both crafty and fresh produce, from gits, ornaments, cards, food and luxury cheeses.

It is a family event with painting face for the little ones and a cup of tea or coffee for the adults.
