Claremorris Drama and Fringe Festival 2024

The 52th Claremorris Drama and Fringe Festival will take place from Thursday 14th March to Saturday 23rd March 2024, in the Town Hall Theatre Claremorris nightly at 8.00 pm sharp.
The Festival is under the auspices of Amateur Drama Council of Ireland.
The official opening will be on Thursday 14th March at 8.00 pm with prosecco at Reception from 7.30 pm.
This year, the adjudicator will be Irene O’Meara. She is very well known as adjudicator on the Drama Circuit and has a rich and vast experience in acting, directing, Stage Management, Costume & Set Design. She delivers courses in the areas of Acting, Directing, Ensemble work as well as Drama Therapy, Expressive Arts, Process Drama & Integrated Arts.

Saturday 16th March, Antigone by Sophocles, Brideview Drama Players.

Sunday 17th March, According to Rumour by Robert Scott, Cornmill Theatre Group.

Monday 18th March, The Crucible by Arthur Miller, Dalkey Players.

Tuesday 19th March, Eclipsed by Patricia Bourke Brogan, Ray Leonard Players.

Wednesday 20th March, Agnes of God by John Pielmeir, St Patricks Drama Group.

Thursday 21st March, The Outgoing Tide by Bruce Graham, Glenamaddy Players.

Friday 22nd March, Stolen Child by Bairbre Ní Chaoimh and Yvonne Quinn, Clann Machua Drama.
- Saturday 23rd March, A View From The Bridge by Arthur Miller, Prosperous Dramatic Society.
After the last performance there will be the Presentation of Prizes.
