The 2024 International Dark Sky Week will take place from Wednesday, April 3rd, to Saturday, April 6th.

The event will feature three main shows:

• Wednesday, 3rd April: Astronomy for Beginners in Ballycroy Visitor Centre at 1 pm and 8 pm, delivered in a mix of Irish and English.

• Thursday 4th April: The Amazing Swift, Reversing the Decline, Talk by Linda Huxley at Hotel Newport at 8 pm.

• Saturday, April 6th: Visual Astronomy Under Dark Sky, with Ronan Newman, at 8 pm in Ballycroy Visitor Centre.
