Achill Island Golf Club is a 9 hole links course beside Keel Strand, offering spectacular views and some challenging golf holes. It is open all year with reasonable green fees - a special weekly rate is available for holiday makers.

There are open competitions every Bank Holiday weekend and an open festival of golf is held from late July to early August.

There is a 9-hole pitch and putt course at The Valley House in Achill. This is a challenging course with scenic views of Slievemore mountain, Blacksod Bay and the Nephin mountain range. The course is open to the public, club hire is included in the green fees and golf balls and tees are also available.
