Although Ballycastle itself doesn't have a golf course, there are a range of excellent golfing opportunities within easy reach of this beautiful coastal village in north Mayo.

Ballycastle is just 25 miles from the magnificent 18 hole championship links course at Enniscrone which is regarded as one of the finest links in the country.

Carne 18 hole links, 33 miles away in Belmullet, is one of the newest and most spectacular courses in the country.

There is also an excellent 18 hole parkland course 17 miles away at Ballina, with lush fairways and carefully manicured greens, set against a backdrop of the majestic Ox Mountains.

There is a Par 3 Pitch & Putt course in Ballina (on the Sligo road) and a Driving Range (on the Crossmolina road). Enniscrone also has a Pitch & Putt course.
