The centre has a wealth of information and presentations on a number of different strands of the Heritage and Folklore of this area. These include:

• Archaeology and local history

• Island life

• The life story of St Deirbhile

• The legend of Clann Lir, who according to folklore, are buried on Inis Glóra.

Why not enjoy some light refreshments in the coffee shop and allow your senses to wander back in time, and also visit the craftshop.

Opening times:

Open at Easter and from the beginning of May until the end of September. Open also bank holiday weekends. Coach parties and groups catered for all year round by prior booking.
