Walking in North Mayo
Dún Caocháin is an area of great physical beauty and contrast in north Mayo, which has retained many of its old traditions and culture. A local guidebook is available which contains five walks of variable length and challenge, taking you through some spectacular cliff scenery, stretching westwards from Belderrig to Benwee Hd. and taking in Porturlin and Portacloy.
Afterwards why not enjoy an evening of traditional music and chat in the local pubs.
Guided or self-guided tours available with transport, meals and accommodation all organised.
Cuireann muinter Dhún Chaocháin fáilte romhat chuig an ceantar fíorálainn Gaeltachta seo a bhfuil traidisiún agus cultúr láidir ag baint leis. Tá súil againn go mbainfidh tú taitneamh as do chuairt linn.
