Ideally situated for a holiday in County Mayo, Kilkelly has many places of historical interest including prehistoric forts, a stone fort and many earthen forts.

Fresh and coarse water fishing can be enjoyed in any of the nearby lakes - Loughs Urlaur, Conn and Mask. Golf courses are within easy reach: Claremorris (18 holes), Ballyhaunis and Swinford (both 9 hole parkland).
