Midway between Kilkelly and Ballaghaderreen, on the R325 road, Kilmovee is very convenient to Ireland West Airport Knock (15 mins), and Knock Shrine (20 mins drive).

Fishing is a primary attraction in the area with Urlar Lake and the nearby Lung River for pike, perch and brown trout, while the famous salmon fishing river River Moy is only 30 mins drive.
