Siamsa Sraide

Siamsa Sraide (fun on the streets) is one of Irelands biggest and longest street festivals. The festival of pageantry and dance depicts much of the culture and heritage of East Mayo. The festival is held over the August bank Holiday weekend.

Other important features of Síamsa Sráide will be a set-dance workshop on the street, an improved children's programme and competitions and circus street entertainment. The business community are also making a special effort to put on in-house.

Mayo Fleadh Cheoil 2014
